Ayurveda and classical medicine
Ayurveda is the first medicine of mankind. Buried 5000 years ago in India, Ayurveda is still entirely natural, conducted in ancient methods. Since ancient times, Ayurveda has embraced old cultures – Chinese, Egyptian, Persian. Today classical medicine perceives Ayurveda completely seriously.
The World Health Organization has recognized the healing power of the two main Ayurveda methods – Purvakarma and Panchkarma. Large Ayurveda lectures are held in major medical centers, attended by leading practitioners, scientists, representatives of research institutes, and drug companies.
The serious attitude of classical medicine to Ayurveda is understandable. Ayurveda products are a huge “knowledge library” of healing herbs – there is a list of antiquity with 50,000 medicinal plants and they are also used in different combinations. In addition, in ancient times, Ayurveda treatment has carried out complex operations such as organ transplants, which are described in ancient texts. In all of this, Ayurveda removes not only the disease but also the reasons for it.
Ayurveda successfully cures the diseases of all systems in the human body. Its methods are in eight strands.
The first is like general medicine – diseases of the body. The treatment of children is a separate area with specialized methods. There is also surgery, the other are diseases of the eyes, ears, nose, teeth. Separately, alcohol or micro-organisms, as well as anti-diarrhea. Follow rejuvenation and treatment of infertility.
There is no chronic disease for Ayurveda – it treats all diseases unless they are at an end stage of development, such as cancer.
Pulse diagnosis – Ayurveda distinguishes 600 types of pulse abnormalities
Ayurveda diagnosis is done entirely on sensory signals of the body – which can be seen, heard or felt. This requires in-depth knowledge in all areas of human nature.
For example, when checking the pulse, the qualified Ayurveda doctor can detect 600 types of abnormalities that point to certain diseases. In order to acquire and guarantee such Ayurveda qualification, 10 years of training is required.
The experienced Ayurveda Doctor also receives a lot of information from the patient’s language – color, dryness, humidity, furrow, sticking to different places, and so on – in any particular area, Ayurveda is directed to the disease by the body.
The Ayurveda test is a comprehensive review that identifies diseases in several basic ways. These are the pulse beat, how the tongue looks, articulation in speech, touching certain points of the body, viewing certain points – eyes, nails, etc., general appearance, urine, stools.
Thus, Ayurveda testing not only accurately determines the disease and its degree of development. An accurate picture of the general condition of the organism is obtained. On the basis of this, Ayurveda defines specific violations of the balance sheets and may provide for illnesses for which they will soon appear to the patient.
Pride kills the liver, egoism – the heart
In ancient medicine, Ayurveda’s health is not just not the individual physiological organs and systems in the human body. Total health also requires a mental balance that is intertwined with physiology. For Ayurveda, one is healthy only in a single balance of physiological and spiritual beginnings in our nature.
This comprehensive health science has found a direct link between strong negative emotions that are disturbed mental balance and physiological balance in the body. For example, Ayurveda indicates that suppressed anger damages the bile and inflates the small intestine. Egoism damages the heart, and fear affects the colon. Hypocrisy is related to kidney problems, and pride – to the liver.
According to Ayurveda, the diseases come because of a violation of universal harmony, part of which is man. Diseases are because we do not live by universal laws. Our spiritual life is also part of them, and the violations come back to us as physical suffering.
This is on the principle of similarity. The stomach ulcer, for example, is because of sarcasm – we have hurt someone who is vulnerable, who lives under natural laws and can not bear our aggression. Foot pain may mean that we are preventing a person from going their own way and his or her understanding of life. Ecumenical laws “level the scales”.
Ancient Ayurveda is particularly relevant today
The relationship between the emotional and physiological state of man drawn from the ancient Ayurveda is today particularly relevant. It is constantly said that the bad type of emotional stress in our time is very big.
This has a specific dimension: anxiety due to work problems or financial difficulties that cause additional personal problems in the family, alienation and fear of loneliness, uncertainty about the future, general dissatisfaction with the achievements.
All this affects physiological health. Contemporary scientists say, for example, that long-term sadness can lead to dementia. Thus, the fight with stress is a struggle for both the soul reassurance and physiological diseases of organs and systems in the human body.
Ayurveda, which is organically linked to yoga, also has solutions against mental tension. Specialized treatment is applied at Ayurveda Clinic Bansko – with different herbs and their combinations in different formulas, procedures, therapies. There, naturally, with authentic Ayurveda, they eliminate not only stress but also any disease.
The soothing herbs that are used in Ayurveda are many, but the more popular can be mentioned the sacred basil. Ayurveda applies it widely because of its varied action. The leaves are mainly used, but also the rest of the plant. The herb affects the nervous system, the absorption of oxygen by the cells, activates the immune system, the lungs, the heart, the liver.
Apart from the specialized treatment, Ayurveda also has simple, environmentally friendly rules for everyday life, which are also blogging for both the psychological and the physiological equilibrium. Ayurveda Meditation is particularly important, but for many people it is “distant” – because of lack of knowledge, time, and so on. However, they can set up a permanent regime based on Ayurveda. This ancient medicine has determined by hours how human energy is activated.
How and when it loads and activates energy in Ayurveda
Ayurveda recommends bedtime in the evening before 22:00. The most complete sleep is 23 to 1 o’clock after midnight, when the energy consumed during the day is restored. Up to 3 hours after midnight the emotional energy of the body is restored.
From 7 am to 8 am, intelligence is activated and from 8 to 9 logical thinking is the strongest. It’s time for a plan for the day. Up to 10 AM is suitable for working with numbers. After noon up to 18:00, physical energy is active. Then – up to 20:00, it is time for an active break with a variety of tastes – in the family, in a friendly company, with music, reading or otherwise.
Meanwhile, in your schedule, take a bath every day, a walk after a meal, deep breathing to better absorb oxygen, Ayurveda recommends. Fruit and vegetables must be present daily.
According to Ayurveda, food can take the energy of the environment
In fact, Ayurvedic nutrition is particularly important because food gives body energy. Eating is vegetarian. Meats, fish, eggs, garlic, mushrooms, bread, alcohol carry an energy charge, but it is ignorant because it damages the body.
For Ayurveda, the same “energy” have the cans, semi-finished products and foods made from old products or consumed more than 3 hours after they were ready.
For Ayurveda there is also a food of passion. These foods are spicy, hot, hot, salty, sour, and so on. Ayurveda recommends all six flavors – sweet, bitter, salty, peppery, astringent, sour, but achieves them moderately with natural spices.
The third kind of food is the charge of goodness: fruits and vegetables that are fresh and juicy, walnuts, carrots, corn, lentils, cereals and others. Here Ayurveda has certain rules – for example, not to mix fruits and vegetables in a meal, there are no other activities and thoughts other than food, etc. during the meal.
In the morning, good food – fruits and dairy products should also be consumed. In addition to being useful, they are easily digested and will not make digestion difficult, which is poor in the morning.
The day is loaded with physical activity, and digestion is enhanced, so eating less heavier meals at noon. In the evening, you should eat a little again, and it is good not to be after 18 hours – to pass a few hours before bedtime. If the body overloads the evening with food, it will become toxins, and they are the root of the disease.
There are also requirements for food preparation. The cook should not prepare it in a bad mood – because it “takes” the negative energy. For the same reason, the room where it is cooked must be clean as well as the cook’s clothes.
Detox and Ayurveda treatment
For Ayurveda, the diseases come from poisons accumulated in the body. Toxins are brought in, alien to the natural, natural balance in the body, and distort it by confusing the functions of organs and systems.
Ayurveda’s goal is to remove the damage caused by the disease to the body, but at the same time eliminate the causes of disease. If there are no poisons, the human “natural laboratory” and the defense forces will function normally, and there will be no illnesses.
Toxins are formed by unhealthy nutrition. This includes food with the charge of ignorance, improper nutrition, eating in inappropriate hours in inappropriate quantities, overeating.
Ayurvedic treatment includes detox – purifying the body from poison, combined with Ayurveda eating, yoga exercises and meditation. This includes lectures on the essence of Ayurveda for motivating and explaining to the patient how to care for their health. An individual plan is drawn up for everyday treatment after healing.
The Ayurveda detox is conducted using the two methods of Purvakarma and Panchakarma. The Purvarkarma is from external procedures and therapies, Panchakarma – from internal. What kind of activities of both methods in which sequence to apply, Ayurveda decided. Consider what the disease is and at what stage, what is the general condition of the patient, sex, age.
Purvakarma is a pouring of curative oils, herb rubbing, heating, saunas from herbal infusions, massages in certain areas. This is a preparatory stage for internal cleansing with Panchakarma. At the same time, each Purvakarma procedure is suitable for the treatment of certain diseases. Panchakarma uses laxative and cleansing, environmentally friendly means.
Thus, the complete Ayurveda treatment returns the body to its natural activities, resumes its protective and vital forces, and is ready for an active, long-lived life without disease.
