Description of status

A runny nose is a condition in which the nostrils continue to release fluid. This is due to overload and inflammation of the lining of the nasal passages and sinuses, and is mainly caused by a viral infection known as the common cold. Allergy or infection of the sinuses causes swelling of the internal lining of the nose and sinuses Inflammation caused by the virus increases the flow of fluid from the blood vessels into the mucous membrane of the nose and also into the nose. This causes the mucous membrane of the nose to swell, which leads to blockage of airflow and runny nose.

Runny nose and sneezing are common cold symptoms. But if you are the victim of constant sneezing, it may be a sign of allergy. Sneezing is a way for the body to expel bacteria or irritants. The allergic reaction causes excessive sneezing, tearing of the eyes and congestion to separate elements such as dust and dust. However, there are other elements in the environment that cause sneezing attacks. But, these homemade sneeze remedies can help avoid triggers.

 

Home remedies for the fight against cold

One can refer to some safe and natural home remedies that can alleviate this very uncomfortable condition and help dispose of the fluid comfortably. If a person has other symptoms such as fever, cough, or throat pain  in addition to the runny nose, then see a doctor to treat the underlying cause.

Try to determine the cause of the runny nose as the causes of the runny nose dictate a potential cure. Gently massage the nose and the area between the eyes and ear ears to ease the sinus pressure to slow the flow of the runny nose. Apply light pressure on each nostril, closing and opening it slowly, followed by rubbing over the eyes and ear lobes. Use steam to relieve discomfort by reducing mucus produced by the runny nose. One can take a hot shower or bath, turn on a humidifier or hang over a bowl of hot water.

Try medications and supplements to further manage your symptoms. There are a variety of over-the-counter and over-the-counter medications to help manage your runny nose. Nasal sprays containing olopatadine, vapor rubs and topical decongestants, magnesium and zinc supplements can help open the cells and nasal canal.

Press ten times on the corner of the nose to keep it from getting worse. This pressure point can help relieve congestion of the sinuses and headaches caused by colds and allergies. The nose should be closed almost every time pressure is applied to the area. The same procedure should be performed in the area just above

Use salt water to flush the nasal canals, releasing mucus. One may use a syringe or other nasal irrigation product. Soak your handkerchief in hot water and place it on your face to relieve sinus pressure and open the nasal passages.

Magnesium supplement 400 mg oral pills can help blood vessels dilate and restore the blood vessels response in the mucosa-producing glands. 15 mg oral zinc supplements use intracellular pathways that cause secretions such as mucous membranes.

Runny nose with thin mucus is often a Vata  condition with toxicities such as bowel or gas leakage and swelling. Check for signs of chronic infection such as swollen lymph nodes or inflammation. Note whether the amount of fluid is related to your body temperature (cold or hot), exercise or bowel health.

Allergies can cause chronic runny nose – including respiratory and nutritional allergies. Avoid rich foods that can aggravate symptoms. Chiropractic may be able to help correct any postural problems that prevent the flow of lymph.

What causes runny nose and sneezing?

According to Ayurveda he increase in Kafa causes problems with the respiratory system. Poor Kafa disrupts the flow of Vata (air) to cause runny nose and sneezing.

Home remedies according to Ayurveda

1. Prevent excessive cardamom sneezing.

Makeup and sneezing are treatable with black cardamom Spice controls mucosal flow and inhibits sneezing attacks. Grind one or two black cardamom with a rolling pin. Mix the cardamom powder in half a teaspoon of melted butter and drink it twice a day.

2. Take a ginger to stop steady sneezing.

Ginger in ginger is antibacterial in nature. They prevent excessive sneezing and any associated allergies. So, take a ginger long and grate it. Squeeze the grated ginger to extract its juice. Mix half a teaspoon of it with honey and drink it at night to relieve runny nose and allergy to sneezing.

3. Tulsi cure sneezing allergy.

Tulsi or Indian basil contains antimicrobial properties. It kills the allergens that lead to constant sneezing. So, boil a glass of water and add 3-4 tulips leaves. Stir the broth for 5 minutes, strain and drink two glasses a day.

4. Amla fights sneezing attacks.

Gooseberry or amla is a citrus fruit rich in antioxidants. Amla is among the best ayurvedic home sneeze. Therefore, eat one raw amla daily or drink it in powdered form with a little water.

5. Eucalyptus oil is the perfect medicine.

Essential oil acts as a decongestant. Add three drops of eucalyptus oil to a bowl of steaming water. Inhale the steam to clear the airways and stop sneezing allergy.

6. Fenugreek seeds are effective.

Bake 5 tablespoons of fenugreek seeds and store in a saucepan. Add a teaspoon of seeds to one glass of hot water. Allow it to steep for a few minutes and then strain. Mix honey to taste. Drink twice daily. Fenugreek seeds can also help with allergies to sinusitis.

7. Relax sneezing matches with dill seeds.

Fennel seeds exhibit antihistamine activity. So, boil the decoction by boiling a teaspoon of dill seeds in a glass of water. Grind it for about 5-7 minutes and then strain. Drink a sneeze every day for allergy relief.
