Definition of stomatitis and stomatopathy
Mouth inflammation is known as stomatitis or stomatopathy This can be caused by poor oral hygiene, burns due to the consumption of hot fluid or food, medications, allergic reactions or infections. Although the cause of recurrent atonic stomatitis (cancer) is unknown, nutritional deficiencies are thought to play an important role. Management of stomatitis and stomatopathy depends on the cause of the disease.
Stomatitis or mouth ulcers are one of the most common health problems that everyone experiences. Cancer inflammation or blisters are usually caused by stomach upset or constipation. This is a very painful and irritating disease inside the mouth with symptoms such as red inflammation, swelling, inflammation and white or pink wounds inside the mouth.

Stomatitis and stomatopathy according to Ayurveda
The stomatitis is known as “Mukhpak” in Ayurveda. The standard Ayurvedic treatment for stomatitis is as follows. A decoction of trifal (three fruits), pata (Cissampelos pareira), Manuka (dried grapes) and Jai (Jasminum auriculatum), in combination with honey, is used to wash mouth. Cold water mixed with honey or decoction of Daruharidra (Berberis aristata) and alum are also used as mouthwash. Jatyadi oil, or Kamdudha, mixed with cream, is used for topical application to wounds. Khadiradi vati is used for suction. Slight purification is recommended. In patients with recurrent stomatitis, blood is recommended.

Types of stomatitis and stomatopathy according to Ayurveda

In the type of “Vataja” stomatitis has severe pain, cracking of the tongue and intolerance to cold food. (Five salts) and medicated oils are used for topical application.

The Pittaja type has severe burning, redness and a bitter taste in the mouth. Induced bugging is recommended in this type. Sugar cane juice, milk, grape juice and glucose water are used as toothpaste. * Dhatki (berries) Leaves are recommended to chew. The same treatment, along with blood donation, is recommended in the “Raktaja” type, where all symptoms are more pronounced.
There is relatively less pain in the “ Kaphaja ” type. The mouth ulcers are not very red and sticky. There is more saliva and itching in the affected areas. Hooks (Picrorrhiza kurroa),salts and Kshars (drug causes) are used for topical application. Decoctions of palash (Butea monosperm) and Amalaki (Emblica) mixed with Kaar are used as toothpaste.
In the latter type of stomatitis, called “Sannipataja”, there is a combination of symptoms of the types vataja, pittaja and kaphaja. Treatment is given according to the prevailing symptoms. For local application Ayurveda recipe containing Gorchan, Kasis, Raganyan, Mocharasa (Salmalia malabarica) and honey is used.
In the above treatment, most patients who have only local symptoms will heal within a few days. For recurrent gangrene or any stomatitis with very severe symptoms, longer treatment is usually required. In addition, patients may require oral treatment with herbal medicines to correct imbalances in the body.
Home remedies for treatment

Triphala is a natural blend of three herbal fruits; It is an effective treatment for stomach pain. Take a teaspoon of trifal powder in warm water before going to bed. Repeat this method for several weeks to get rid of all kinds of sores in your mouth forever.
Alternative treatment: – You can mix a teaspoon of triphal powder into honey. Apply it on gastric wounds and rinse your mouth after 5 minutes.
Lemon and water
Lemon is an excellent herbal fruit; Has antibacterial, antifungal and antiseptic properties that help reduce swelling and inflammation. Take one lemon and cut that lemon into two pieces as shown in the figure.
Then take half a lemon and squeeze it into the glass with lukewarm water. Drink this water or rinse your mouth with this water 3 to 4 times every day until the sores in the mouth completely disappear. You can add sugar and salt to the mixture to get a taste and drink it with an empty stomach every morning.
Milk and butter
Milk is the best supplement for proteins and vitamins; it stimulates your metabolic activity and strengthens your body and muscles Drink a glass of lukewarm milk with a teaspoon of pure melted butter (melted butter) before going to bed. Drink milk regularly for at least 2 months; you will completely get rid of all kinds of mouth ulcers.
The female licorice is also known as mulatto or mulch; very effective in treating oral ulcers. Mix a teaspoon of lemongrass with a little honey and make a paste. Apply it to the affected area or mouth pain. Has the ability to heal wounds in the mouth.
Jasmine and guava leaves
Jasmine and guava leaves are very effective in reducing inflammation and treating mouth pain. Chew 5 fresh leaves of both guava and jasmine. Rinse mouth after chewing. This will be an effective treatment for inflammation in the mouth.
