- Bread :
In india bread is called as chapatti or roti or puri.
It is made without oil, ghee, or without oil.
Below are the types of breads :
Chapati – made from wheat flour, ghee or oil
Jawar – made from jawar flour. It is light digestion.
Roti – it is made from maida flour, ghee, sesame seeds
Naan – it is made from maids flour, ghee, sesame seeds
Puri – these are small in shaped round size made from wheat flour or maida flour, fried in oil
- Rice :
Boil rice grains in water and add necessary spices, vegetables or meat or dal.
For eg – Moong Dal Rice, Coconut Rice, Jeera Rice, Tomato Rice, Vegetable Rice(Fried ), Lemon Rice, Curd Rice, Ghee Rice
- Dry Curry
Dry dishes are mainly made of vegetables or meat but do not have water content in the gravy. This can be eaten with bread.

Mutter Paneer – green peas, paneer, oil, chilli powder, coriander powder, salt, onion, tomato, ginger garlic paste, spices
Aloo gobi – potato, cauliflower, oil, chilli powder, coriander powder, salt, onion, tomato, ginger garlic paste, spices
Channa masala – boiled channa, oil, chilli powder, coriander powder, salt, onion, tomato, ginger garlic paste, spices
Bhendi – lady finger, oil, green chilli, salt, onion, curry leaf
Bhaingan – brinjal, oil, chilli powder, coriander powder, salt, onion, tomato, ginger garlic paste, spices
Moong usal – boiled moong, oil, chilli powder, coriander powder, salt, onion, tomato, ginger garlic paste, spices
Beetroot and carrot curry – beetroot, carrot, oil, chilli powder, coriander powder, salt, onion, tomato, ginger garlic paste, spices
Cabbage – grated cabbage, oil, chilli powder, coriander powder, salt, onion, tomato, ginger garlic paste, spices

Masura curry – soak masura overnight, oil, chilli powder, coriander powder, salt, onion, tomato, ginger garlic paste, spices
Rajama Curry – soak rajama overnight, oil, chilli powder, coriander powder, salt, onion, tomato, ginger garlic paste, spices
Leafy vegetables like spinach, methi etc – are made by garlic, oil, salt (cook without water)
Meat /chicken curry – meat or chicken pieces, oil, chilli powder, coriander powder, salt, onion, tomato, ginger garlic paste , spices
Scrambled Egg – Scrambled egg, oil, chilli powder, coriander powder, salt, onion, tomato, ginger garlic paste, spices
Omlet – egg, oil, chilli powder, coriander powder, salt, onion, tomato, spices.
4.Wet Curry
It is made by cooking vegetables with spices and have water content in the dishes.
It is mainly consumed with rice. The food becomes more soft and easily swallowed.
